Rentals

Come on down to Kaiteriteri beach and have a chat; we’ll sort you out

Ideal for first-timers who want to experience kayaking in the Abel Tasman area but don’t want to commit to an option lasting longer than a few hours. Kaiteriteri Bay is known as one of the safest and most sheltered beaches in New Zealand.

We provide double sea kayaks which you can use to explore the caves, and islands found along the coastline to the world-famous Split Apple rock. This requires a 20-30 minute briefing.

We also offer Stand-up Paddleboards (SUP) as well as Sit-on-top kayaks (SOT) for hire. All SUP and SOT rentals are restricted to Kaiteriteri bay.

We give you full instruction and provide all necessary safety equipment.

A great option for families.

Give it a try – it’s easy.

Plenty to explore – beaches, islands and wildlife.

No experience is needed.

Sit-on-top Kayak Rentals

We offer Sit-on-top kayaks which can take one or two people. These are different from the conventional double kayaks we use for guided trips and sea kayak rentals. The Sit-on-tops are open and safer for children or if you aren't feeling confident in the water. Paddle around the bay and you may see blue penguins, shags and the odd stingray.
