Senior Kayak Guide/Operations Manager
Based at Kaiteriteri Beach, New Zealand. One of the gateways to the Abel Tasman National Park.

Kaiteriteri Kayaks are actively seeking to employ a Senior Sea Kayak Guide/Operations Manager. Suitable for someone looking to take the next step on their journey in the industry, to develop their management skills, gain a greater insight into how a business runs, have input into the day to day running and encouraged to initiate new ideas while being actively supported.
The position is suitable for someone who:
- Has had several years experience in the Outdoor Industry, a passion for people, the environment and a desire to seek new challenges.
- Seeks a desire for more responsibility, day to day operations, guiding, supporting a small team while “on the job”. Support can be given to gain NZIOA or other equivalent higher qualifications to encourage ongoing training.
You will need:
- A current First Aid Certificate
- Sea Kayak Qualifications from NZ
- To be able to work with a small team and love people
- CV
Remuneration will reflect the effort input and increase sales and the opportunity to become a shareholder, and eventually the owner of the Kaiteriteri Kayak concession and equipment.
