North Walk + Royale with Cheese
Get the best of both worlds!
This option combines a day of walking with our most popular day trip the Royale with Cheese Tour. You walk the northern section of the coastal track arriving at Bark Bay, nicely located in the heart of the National Park. Spend the night either in the hut or camping before kayaking home on the second day.
Our Aqua Taxi will drop you at Awaroa or Totaranui (tide permitting). Mother nature throws in a tidal crossing or two along the way so prepare to get your feet wet and enjoy the adventure. This part of the track is more remote but very spectacular. Meet your guide at 10am the next day to begin the Royale with Cheese tour.

Starting at Totaranui?
The trip starting at Totaranui requires careful consideration of tide so that Awaroa Inlet can be crossed during low tide. For this reason it is not available for online booking. Please contact us to plan and book this option.
